It has been a long journey for local painter Billy Moro-Wey, who was born in Nigeria, trained in Europe and now lives as an American citizen in Queens,

"Mother of Life," by Billy Moro-Wey.

Moro-Wey obtained a Master of Arts Degree in painting, drawing and ceramics from the
Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland in 1983. Two years later he completed a post-graduate specialty in architectural ceramics.
