Description:

This book is a compilation of works by LL Osborne, ranging from science-fiction to poetry. Third World USA is the twilight journey of a young man that reminds us that misery is not always a foreign plague, but exists just behind our backyard. Brownstone takes the reader into the life of a wannabe who questions his life, after having lived it without a second thought. It also places love at the centre of healing human suffering. MetrOmpolis is a hypothetical expansion on what could become our lives, in the era of globalization. It is an unrestrained, imaginative piece, and not a science treaty. Love, Sex and Mathematics, is a romantic comedy that portrays immigrants in Western society. It is also an ode to women s sexuality and an attempt to describe why relationships fail. Lastly, a few Un-Kind Poems, celebrating love, sorrow, and freedom.
